L’infortunio subito da Chris Bey a fine ottobre ha tolto il respiro a tutto il mondo del wrestling, quando in un match di coppia che vedeva lui e il partner Ace Austin contro gli Hardys durante le registrazioni di Impact una manovra andata male ha imposto la fine anticipata dell’incontro e, soprattutto, ha dato inizio a una serie di aggiornamenti piuttosto preoccupanti sul suo stato di salute. Diversi wrestler, in tutte le compagnie, hanno espresso il proprio supporto per la situazione, e nonostante le reali condizioni dell’atleta non siano mai state svelate, è ormai chiara a tutti la gravità dell’infortunio. La riabilitazione sarà lunghissima, e la speranza è ovviamente quella di poterlo rivedere sul ring quanto prima – e finalmente, dopo qualche mese, arrivano le prime notizie positive.
