Già in Uncharted 3 era presente un indizio su The Last of Us, ed ora alcuni fan credono di aver trovato un collegamento tra The Last of Us ed Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.L’easter egg in questione risale al DLC Left Behind di The Last of Us, in cui Ellie e Riley discutono di Savage Starlight, una serie di fumetti in-game che raccontano storie di fantascienza. Durante il dialogo, Ellie pronuncia la frase: “Come una di quelle gigantesche navi spaziali intergalattiche con tipo due giganteschi motori di curvatura”. Questa espressione ha catturato l’attenzione della community, perché nel trailer di Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet appare proprio una nave spaziale con due enormi motori di curvatura.
