Univpm inaugurerà a settembre un nuovo Master Internazionale di I livello in: “Statistics, Data Intelligence, and the Foundations of the Sciences”, coordinato dalla Prof.ssa Barbara Osimani, co-direttrice, insieme al Dr. Alexander Gebharter, del “Center for Philosophy, Science, and Policy”.Il Master unisce corsi STEM (statistica, econometria, teoria dei giochi, machine learning, deep learning, intelligenza artificiale e programmazione logica) con corsi dedicati ai fondamenti del metodo scientifico, all'epistemologia e alla filosofia della scienza, focalizzati sui fondamenti teorici che sono alla base delle diverse tecniche inferenziali e, eventualmente, le giustificano.Il Master offre un'opportunità unica per acquisire competenze nelle tecniche di analisi e elaborazione dei dati attraverso tutorial pratici su alcune delle piattaforme più comuni (Python, STATA, R, Matlab) e per comprenderne la logica epistemica e le basi teoriche.
